Bootcamp

Through high intensity total body conditioning, combining strength, power, endurance and core strength, people of ALL fitness levels, male and female, will be challenged.

Bootcamp is a results oriented fitness PROGRAM, not just another workout…

Anyone has the ability to put a workout together and make you tired. What we do is put together a complex system of exercise routines on a four week cycle to improve your body’s functionality and fitness level and to burn body fat.

Our systematic approach to program design includes the manipulation of time under tension, duration of sets, rep range, exercise selection, rest periods, and modifications for each exercise. The detail put into our program allows for exercisers of all levels – beginner through advanced – to work together getting a challenging and fulfilling workout experience.

All Bootcamp clients are required to attend a group health evaluation with our trained staff to ensure your safety prior to the start of Bootcamp. During this evaluation you will learn the basic demands that will be asked of you during a typical Bootcamp workout.

The 50+ page Bootcamp Program Guide you receive and review during the evaluation process includes healthy tips for maximum results, details on our training philosophy, a cardio training program, a Nutritional Blueprint, a quick start 4 week nutritional outline, a nutritional maintenance plan, dozens of healthy recipes, a journal to track your success, and more!

FAQ:

First and foremost, what sets us apart is our commitment to you and to getting you healthy. Second, while aerobic classes serve their purpose, for the most part, they are just another workout, paying little attention to detail, giving little support after the class is over, and providing minimal, if any strength training at all… and truthfully, there really isn’t any skill involved in doing that. Any parent out there can attest to the ability of a 4 year olds ability to do just that.

As noted above, in Bootcamp we provide so much more – Individualized attention, workouts that work together with the last and the next workout, cardio plans outside of class, nutritional support, motivational emails and support, a resource for limitless questions. Bootcamp is a training and nutritional service provided to you in a group setting at a heavily discounted price.

Absolutely NOT...This is a fitness bootcamp, we’re not the military and we are not drill instructors; so we aren’t going to pretend to be. For one that is disrespectful to the service men and women that have gone through a military bootcamp and served our great nation. And two, our intent is to educate, encourage, and instruct exercise in a fun and safe manner, giving you a great workout experience. Yelling and screaming at you will not provide that outcome.

Depending on the time of year and weather, the location of Bootcamp will move from indoor to outdoor and vice-a-versa. Regardless of where it is held, you will always need an exercise mat, a bottle of water, and a towel. You should also dress in layers during the cooler months dependant on the weather.

You won't be alone... We will have modifications for every exercise, no matter what it is; Safety is our first priority, so we will start you at the level we feel is best for you and gradual move you up as you are ready. Since the workouts are based on time intervals, you may also push yourself at a level you feel comfortable with. If you need a breather, you may take one and jump in whenever you are ready.

The key is to stay focused on what your body is telling you and not looking at your neighbor to see what they are doing.

Don’t be afraid, we will find a starting point for you and progress you along slowly.

We want your maximum effort, but we know how difficult these workouts can be for even the most advanced exerciser. If you feel as though you are overexerting, then simply take a break from the action, take a sip of water and walk around until you recover. You may jump right back into the fray as soon as you feel up to it.
